Your uConnect platform is always evolving. Whether it be incorporating a newly released feature (like from April's Features & Updates!) or a change to the way that you support your community, we're here to help you adapt and grow.
With 2020's transition to all things digital, the University of Denver decided that they'd like to revamp their platform to better cater to their newly virtual learners. Assistant Vice Chancellor, Career and Professional Development, Heidi Perman, shared of their decision to actively evolve their platform that: "[w]ith a move to a virtual environment, it was clear we needed to enhance the content and organization of our website to make it easier to navigate for our student and alumni clients."
The DU team added static blocks to make their Communities more visually dynamic, accordion text to conserve valuable space, additional widgets to replace static text, among other updates. Perman included that taking the project step-by-step was key for their success. "By breaking the project into two phases the redesign was manageable for our team during a busy time. During the first phase, we redesigned the architecture to more comprehensively serve the needs of our diverse audiences. During the second phase, we worked with the Uconnect team to design templates for each page that displayed content in a more visually appealing manner for our guests."
Perman continued that, "[t]he Uconnect team helped us understand how we could better use community pages and widgets within the platform to create a more robust site for our campus community. The Uconnect team provided outstanding customer service every step of the way to ensure our overhaul was a seamless process and to share tips for ensuring a user-friendly site."

We're here to help make sure that your community knows where and how to subscribe to your automated alerts so that they can receive tailored content directly to their inboxes. We have two button options (see below!) that can be configured for your platform, both with text that is entirely customizable by you and your team.
