CLIENT (success team) SPOTLIGHT


You may have already met them in the Support channel, but it's time to formally introduce the two new Client Success champions who we are so excited have joined the team! 


Shannon helps uConnect bring new partners aboard quickly and smoothly as our new Onboarding Lead. Shannon's a native of Salem New Hampshire, and graduated from Saint Anselm College. In her free time, you can find her surfing and running. 







Tala joined the team to ensure each of our partner institutions are successful in achieving their goals with the uConnect platform. Tala is a native of Amman, Jordan, and a graduate of Bates College in Maine. Tala leads an international life and has lived in 6 different cities in 3 different continents so far. Her hobbies include traveling, playing sports, listening to music, and binge-watching her favorite TV shows.



Shannon and Tala are expert resources for you. They're smart, dedicated problem-solvers and creative thinkers. We're so glad they've joined the uConnect team, and we know you're going to love them as much as we do! 





School’s around the corner and you must be curious what your students were up to this summer! Or maybe you want a space for students to submit career-related questions on the platform (ie NDSU’s Ask A CM! form), or to get feedback on your platform (ie Drew’s Community Feedback form). We have a great way you can utilize uConnect to collect this, and lots of other valuable information from your students. Forms, also referred to as surveys, are a great way to collect data from users. They can be built through your platform’s dashboard and embedded into custom pages or added as sidebar widgets. 

Here’s a refresher on how to create and embed a form. 

When you create a form, you have the option to set up notifications so that  a specific person or people will be alerted when a response is submitted. What’s even better, anyone in your school can have access to form responses, even if they don’t have access to the uConnect platform, by way of configuring the submission notifications to include all form responses.  You can also set up confirmation emails to your students informing them they have submitted the form successfully! Learn how to set up all those features in this article.

Here are the three different ways you can collect information from your students and utilize uConnect’s form tool:

  1. Embed it into a custom page
  2. Add it as a sidebar widget (we'll need to do that for you, so email to request)
  3. Direct subscribers to the form as a ‘hot link’ in auto newsletters, or link to it in a custom email
