Bridging Classroom to Career with Indiana University Bloomington

CaseStudyHeader.jpg
In April of 2016, Indiana University College of Arts & Sciences recruited uConnect to support the implementation of their new, community-based model for the Walter Center for Career Achievement. The Center’s strategies allow their students, who are all within the Liberal Arts discipline, to connect what they are learning in the classroom to various industries and potential career paths.

In 2017, the Walter Center for Career Achievement website averaged 7,800 unique viewers per month – a near 200% increase over 2016. Looking ahead to the 2017-2018 academic year, Lovejoy and his staff hope to scale their efforts to increase the number of undergraduate students completing internships, and continue to expand their reach to provide in-person services to all on-campus students.
